Privacy
Commitment:
Customer confidentiality is an essential principle of Vanguard Leasing,
Inc.. You have a right to financial privacy, and we respect this right. We
are committed to protecting the information you share with us at all times.
We value the trust you have placed in us.
Information We Collect:
We limit the collection and use of information about our customers to what
is required by law, and to administer our ongoing relationship with you. We
may collect "nonpublic personal information" (personally identifiable
information that is not available from public sources) as the result of
information we receive from you on applications; information about your
history with us, our affiliates and others; and information we receive from
third parties, such as credit bureaus. Nonpublic personal information may
include, for instance, information regarding your bank account balances,
income, and payment history.
When you contact us by e-mail, your e-mail address is neither
disseminated outside the company nor sold to third parties. We do ask that
you do not send confidential information to us via e-mail unless we advise
you that it is secure prior to submitting your message. Information
submitted on application forms to us through our Web site is not yet
encrypted and secure; in addition, other types of e-mail are not necessarily
secure against interception.
Maintaining Accurate Information:
We employ diligent measures to ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and
completeness of customer information. If you believe our records may be
inaccurate or incomplete, you may call us at 1-866-604-8160, write to us at
the address listed on your statement or visit our office. We will promptly
investigate and make appropriate corrections.
Information We Disclose Externally:
We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about our
customers or former customers to "non-affiliated third parties" (third
parties not members of our corporate family) except as permitted by law. You do not need to take any action to prevent disclosure. For example,
we may disclose nonpublic personal information about you such as name,
address, social security number, and income to government entities in
response to subpoenas, to credit bureaus regarding your payment history, to
service providers, and to other financial institutions with whom we have
joint marketing agreements. These third parties assist us in servicing our
relationship with you, and they are contractually obligated to keep your
nonpublic, personal information confidential and in a secure environment.
Third parties we contract with are never permitted to use our customer
information for any purpose other than the specific service intended. Vanguard does not sell customer information to anyone.
Vanguard Leasing, Inc.
reserves the right to change this Privacy Disclosure at anytime by posting
a new Privacy Disclosure on our Website. We encourage you to revisit the
